Never Say Good-bye...

It’s not our success or failures, our wealth or lack of.

Who we knew or didn’t know, or even who we are.

It’s the Imprint we leave on hearts and minds,

Long after we are gone.Regina Coburn; fellow Simmer and shining light.  (Thanks to The Mare’s Nest who transcribed this touching poem from Regina)

She will be remembered and forever missed.

I did not know Regina Coburn for long as I came into the Sims Forums  late.  But even though our paths only crossed a few times in the vastness of the Sims Forums; she was always a kind and gentle soul. Always making others feel welcome.

Despite everything that she was going through she fought her battle with an iron inner strength.  I can only wish that I could meet my own travails with half the strength with which she fought her toughest battle.

Writin_Reg as she was known on the forum was a fixture on the Sims Forums and ever hopeful that the Sims 4 would show its promise.

All of us who were lucky enough to have crossed paths on the forum with Reg were hoping that she would prevail over the spectre.  But sadly, it was not to be.

Even though our paths only briefly crossed on the forum and she and I probably wouldn’t recognize each other if we passed each other on the street, she treated me (a newcomer to the forums and to Sims with kindness.

She was a shining light within the Sims community and will be remembered fondly by everyone who knew her.

As long as we remember a person, they're not really gone. Their thoughts, their feelings, their memories, they become a part of us.” - Justin Cronin.

Reg, Thank you for your ever-present optimism and your display of an iron willpower and inner strength that few could ever hope to match. You were always a bright, shining light. May Angels herald your journey...
Until we all reunite in the hereafter...
Never say “Good-bye
