Want Faster Loading Times for my new Gaming System, (...but Write Problems)

What I would like to do to my C:\Users\xxxxx\Documents\Electronic Arts game folder which is currently on Drive C:\ is to make sure that I can put that on a different lettered HDD drive so that I don't end up writing onto the SSD drive EVERY SINGLE TIME that I end up that folder and the only way that I can see doing that is to address my C:\Users\xxxxx\Documents\Electronic Artsto an actual HDD drive with a different letter, but I don't know if it's even possible when you install the game, because the C:\Users\xxxxx\Documents\Electronic Arts folder is the one that is constantly written to because of the fact that I use mods.

This is my game folder on C:\ That is the ONLY folder I want on the C:\ (which will be my SSD boot drive).

This is the folder that I use to put my mods folder and manipulate my game files (saved games, videos, screenshots, etc) - This is the folder that is constantly being written to - not good for an SSD. I want it elsewhere other than on my SSD, preferably a HDD drive (D:\)

As you can see, I have my mods folder in this folder as well as utilizing my Downloads folder for my Sims 3 packs - which means, I write to this folder - again...not good for the lifespan of my SSD that I plan to get for my gaming PC Build.

...and they say that writing to a SSD multiple times is bad for the life-cycle of an SSD. So how do I prevent wearing out my SSD, when everytime I write to my C:\Users\xxxxx\Documents\Electronic Arts folder I end up killing off the life-cycle of that SSD? HDDs ran the risk of physical failure due to moving parts. SSDs evidently have the problem with write cycles.

Swangard Stadium - Potential Build in Sims 3?

Somebody should build Swangard Stadium as a build in Sims 3

I'm Down To My Last Four Expansion Packs To Get

I have to say that I am so close to getting the rest of the Sims 3 expansion packs. It's just a matter of getting the following ones and then my Sims 3 EPs will be complete.

I have a story-line going which requires Into The Future and another one that requires University Life for when the second generation kids of my founder end up going to University. I'm not really all that into Showtime or Island Paradise, but for the sake of "completion", I'll get the two EPs. And my wife has to play catchup on the EPs. I have Pets, my wife doesn't. I don't know which of the packs my wife has, but I think she's missing one or two more than me. But I'd have to ask her, and right now Loki and Mina are not on the best of terms, as this is his first afternoon and night here. Poor little kitten. Mina is having a cow because of the fact that a "strange new feline" is in the house. So I can't go into the bedroom freely to ask my wife which Sims 3 EPs she doesn't have.

So here are the four remaining expansion packs that I need in order of release.

This EP, I have really no interest in other than for certain items in build mode. Like spot-lights for an in-house stage for classical concerts. I have no interest in the entertainment careers at all. I'm just buying it to round out my entire Sims 3 Expansion Pack collection.

This one holds the most playability of the expansion packs that I am planning on getting. I have a sim couple who could potentially go to university and a family that will probably be sending every single one of their children to Sims U. On top of that the build objects and placeable buildings in the EP are second to none. You get a bowling alley that you can place as well as a pool table and other assorted goodies.

Isla Paradiso has to be one of the most buggy worlds that EA has ever shipped. Frankly, it got so laggy that someone had to redo the entire world and solve the routing issues that the island in-game had. So if you're planning on getting the Island Paradise EP, I'd highly suggest tracking down the Isla Paradiso replacement.

This was yet another expansion pack that I was leery of getting because I had no interest really in time travel or anything of the sort. Dystopia/Utopia - take your pick, you can see if you can survive in a Dystopian future where pollution is the order of the day or in a Utopia where everything feels very Stepford Wives-ish. Or you can pick your future to be anything in between based on the choices that you make in the present. My reason for getting this EP is to get the soil-rugs which allow me to plant an indoor garden. There is a fancy greenhouse in the store, but that's a little too much in terms of Simpoints right now for my wallet. The soil rugs will come in handy for a story-line about an apocalypse that I will be rebooting.

On the whole the Sims 3 is exceedingly addictive and enables me to waste hours upon hours of game-play and I'm looking forward to completing the rest of the expansion packs, very shortly.

...and then...on to the Stuff Packs (minus the Katy Perry Sweet Treats - don't want to make my lots look like a Candy Machine got sick and vomited all over my lot) and the rest of the Store. My wallet is so going to hate me.

Never Liked Jared Frio - Don't Know What Girls See In Him.

I've always liked Bolo Yeung when he's played scary Asian bad guys in the movies. He's got the face for it, in fact, I think I'm going to create his Sim in Sims 3. :D Now that I've figured out the settings in MC...to adjust the body sliders...heh heh heh...he's going to be HUUUUUUUGE.

He looks like the archetypal wise asian grandfather (Who'll kick your ass if you don't bring home A's) in this picture

And here he is in Bloodsport as Chong Li a major league badass. This picture makes him look so mean that he'll make you piss your pants.

Starting the Process

And the real test of MasterController's slider settings capabilities. Here's Bolo's arms.

Buggy Brouhaha-fest In TS4 Forums

The Glitterturd Strikes Again with Cats and Dogs. Looks like the game has been broken. Complications with UI and CC/Mods messing up. Sort of really makes me glad that I never bothered getting the game. And more and more it seems as though I'm never going to cough up good money to buy that steaming pile of cowdung.

georgeandjudycas got so pissed off that they decided that they were going to go back to Sims 2 and TheSims. Man, I hope their system can play it or they may end up having to mess around with emulators. But I gotta hand it to them for sticking to their guns and going back all the way. Gotta love the Sims 2 players. They trash Sims 3 and yet their game looks about as blocky as hell. But if they want to play it the way they want to...then all the more power to them. Me I'll stick with open sandbox. Sims 3 is what I started with and what I'm going to stick to.

Poor rosemow has been doing damage control on this issue trying to help them with solutions (that may or may not work); problems have always been a step-by-step fix in Sims. and you have to go through each step. There is NO EASY FIX.

Well, the whole thread is blowing up in terms of how many bugs are cropping up in the game, some of them being game-breakers. Well...after reading all the complaints and bugs being reported all I can say is. "I'm sure fucking glad I play Sims 3.
