Sims 4 Devs Don't Like Us Bashing The GlitterTurd

Apologies to The Mare's Nest But I'm going to steal the term Glitterturd from her for a bit

ShuffleJ evidently was not satisfied with TS4; that glittering piece of shit that EA calls their current Sims game. He started the thread "Still the Superior Game" in TS3 Forums section and made several salient observations. Someone else I can't remember exactly who made some incredibly insightful comments regarding the fact that the programming on the game was mediocre at best and wasn't up to the standards that they had put into TS3. Evidently someone on the SimGuru's section took exception to it and moved the thread, because they couldn't just up and delete the thread for cause which none were broken:

So they did the following:

1. They wanted to get rid of the rightful insinuations that the game devs weren't doing their job, that they were cutting corners and making this a DLC/diarrhea shit-fest.

2. They didn't think that deleting the thread in the TS3 section wouldn't cause an uproar over unjustified deletion.

3. They wanted to have a legitimate excuse to kill the thread so they moved it into TS4 and caused a war.

4. Once they had manufactured enough probable cause from the outraged "TS4 "We're happy as fuck with whatever shit we're shovelled" zombies" they axed the thread (hid the thread).

Now we see what the situation is in this forum.

The SimGurus take TS4 originated threads that don't have anything nice to say about TS4 and shovel them into TS3 to let them die whereas any salient TS4 discussion thread in TS3 about the failures of the game get shoved into TS4 GD so that they will have probable cause to delete them or hide them as the case may be.

If they didn't want any criticism of the way that they have handled the whole redevelopment of this game, then perhaps they should have let the franchise die. Because that is the way that this franchise is headed if you decide to ignore the anger of half your fanbase who still plays TS3 for legitimate reasons.
