Decrapifying My Sims 3 CC - Part 3

With my deleting a lot of Sims 3 stuff that took up a ton of space and reducing my mods folder down to about...1.18GB...(yes, I deleted a lot of stuff. Now I'll have to figure out my folders so that I'm going to be able to organize and convert a lot of stuff that I newly find and from now on, I'm going to "save file" when I go to the Sims 3 Store. I know that I'm going to have to do a lot of re-downloading, because I've deleted a lot of stuff...and went as bare as I possibly can.

My backup file folders look like this: Practically EMPTY of stuff...because I'm keeping my backup packages on my back-up mods folder, which I will copy and paste to the mods folder in my game.

The "Backup Mods Folder" mirrors the actual layout of the mods folder that I'm utilizing in my \Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3 folder. At least then I can just copy-paste it in and change the title of the folder to "mods".

I have organized my "organizational" folders like this...mainly due to the fact that I plan to do some more downloading (have to get my Christmas trees and all that back...). The "Sims3Packs to Packages" folder is the folder that I drop all my extracted .packages files from the extractor program that I utilize. The Sims3packs only stay on the computer long enough for me to drop them into my Mods folder.

I've been trying to make sure that I don't submerge my mods too far into the subfolders. The maximum that I've been doing is...Desktop\Haruo\Sims 3 CC\Backup Mods Folder\Packages\CAS\Hair\WINGS which I suppose is only about three deep. I think the maximum recommended is four (before you start running into problems)?

Eventually I'll get a storage place for all my mods that I'm not currently using at the moment, however, that will be when I get a much better organizational system going. This one will do for now.

Thanks to igazor for the tip...re: some "interesting" mods that I have going...took care of that problem - downloaded the other one...

It could be worse... I guess. It could look like my photography folder on my other computer...

@TinySpaceFox. You did a great job cleaning up your folder and organizing it. :) Kudos to a "fellow photography afficionado"
