SimCity Buildit in 2020

We really need an Other Sim Games for EA Sim titles. Because we Simmers do tend to play other Sim-????s titles too though this is primarily for the Sims.

Lost my last city I built on my iPad so I am back to square one. One factory, two houses.

Awwwwww, I feel kinda sorry for her. Maybe I should hook up the lights.

...or maybe I’ll just be a gigantic tool and leave ‘em off. 😈

And Eva. The City Manager’s Advisor; she’s cute.

Maybe I’ll make her in Sims 4 (when I finally get around to getting the game. (Has it gone on sale yet? ~evil grin~) and marry her off to one of Riverand Haruo’s kids. ~smirk~

If anyone else is still playing show your faces and maybe I can manage to link cities. Maybe even keep this one going since the other thread is frikkin’ DEAD as in defunct-deceased-DEAD!

You know I’m still cheesed off about losing the other city I was in-the midst of building and I had Vu’s tower built and everything! ~insert streams of T-Unfriendly rated descriptive adjectives (I’m not saying, you can guess).

Nikkei_Simmer Fancies Himself an Actual “Scribbler”

Wait a second?!!! Does Nikkei_Simmer actually think he can be a “writer”.

No. Not really... but he figures he can at least try to come up with a little story idea; something other than playing in someone else’s sandbox all the time. And try to create his own little unique world for a change. This one is written in the first person. If I do decide to publish it officially I will change details and viewpoint; moreover I will probably change the viewpoint to third person. The only people I see use first person is Patricia Cornwell with her Kay Scarpetta novels. Blame my wife, she got me into those books. Also, I find first person is used for a lot of young kids, teens and young adult books. I have no clue as to why, maybe its so that kids can see themselves in the shoes of the protagonist. Who knows.

I tend to write more clearly in third person, then I can describe scenery, how the characters are all feeling, instead of just through the eyes of one character. For me, it flows more naturally

Endless Desolation Chapter One

When I can get onto a real computer instead of mucking about posting with an iPhone, I’ll put the link in the proper location on the sidebar - the layout page doesn’t seem to work in Safari for iOS. “Effing bumnuggets!” to the idiot at Safari”.

I Hate Plot Bunnies

These insipid creatures are the main reason why I have so many sims stories on the go. I also think fanfiction.net is to blame as well. After all how many times have you put up a story and then come back to it and can’t find the gumption to keep going with it. Happens to me all the time.

Whether it’s an unenforced hiatus like a computer repair that takes forever to do or an illness or whatever that takes immediate time away from my story, then when I do get back to it my flow thus having been interrupted takes ages to come back.

...which ends up resulting in a whole lineup of stories that end up looking like this:

My fanfiction.net completion rate isn’t all that hot either. Especially when each chapter usually gets completed when I’m on a roll. And that happens once in a blue moon.

Considering how slow I am at even trying to write a chapter. 5000 words in three days. Is it any wonder why I didn’t pursue writing as a career?

Oh God, Dyin’ With Laughter

TMN got me again...and I love ‘em for it. Needed that laugh today”. Thanks...you are all awesome.

Nearly spat out water out my nose, still painful to do but at least it wasn’t Pepsi or Coca-Cola. That woulda really stung.

Hilarity Abounds on the Imaginary Friends Thread

Since I get a sadistic streak playing Sims 3 which is well known around the Sims 3 Forums community, I can always be sure of getting a wonderfully witty reply from igazor.

At least I gave emorrill a good laugh.

It’s always nice to brighten someone’s day.

Converting and Expanding the Selfacy for Fanfiction.net

Posted the first two chapters of the Selfacy on Fanfiction.net. And it’s got one follow.

Hopefully there will be more follows. I’m also updating the Selfacy blog as I edit these chapters.

I’m hoping that I.can make this story better than the original and maybe it will also jog my muse again...it needs a good solid kick in the ass!

Never Say Good-bye...

It’s not our success or failures, our wealth or lack of.

Who we knew or didn’t know, or even who we are.

It’s the Imprint we leave on hearts and minds,

Long after we are gone.Regina Coburn; fellow Simmer and shining light.  (Thanks to The Mare’s Nest who transcribed this touching poem from Regina)

She will be remembered and forever missed.

I did not know Regina Coburn for long as I came into the Sims Forums  late.  But even though our paths only crossed a few times in the vastness of the Sims Forums; she was always a kind and gentle soul. Always making others feel welcome.

Despite everything that she was going through she fought her battle with an iron inner strength.  I can only wish that I could meet my own travails with half the strength with which she fought her toughest battle.

Writin_Reg as she was known on the forum was a fixture on the Sims Forums and ever hopeful that the Sims 4 would show its promise.

All of us who were lucky enough to have crossed paths on the forum with Reg were hoping that she would prevail over the spectre.  But sadly, it was not to be.

Even though our paths only briefly crossed on the forum and she and I probably wouldn’t recognize each other if we passed each other on the street, she treated me (a newcomer to the forums and to Sims with kindness.

She was a shining light within the Sims community and will be remembered fondly by everyone who knew her.

As long as we remember a person, they're not really gone. Their thoughts, their feelings, their memories, they become a part of us.” - Justin Cronin.

Reg, Thank you for your ever-present optimism and your display of an iron willpower and inner strength that few could ever hope to match. You were always a bright, shining light. May Angels herald your journey...
Until we all reunite in the hereafter...
Never say “Good-bye
