We are trying to run the company with an ear to the consumer at all times, not only in the testing phase but when the game is up and running. We're trying to build games that last for years, not for months... If we're not making mistakes along the way and learning from them, that's when you should worry about us.
Unfortunately for EA; The Sims players have been screaming about people in management not listening to player concerns for years. Yet now because a big name company like Lucasfilm/Disney worrying about how EA's treatment of their beloved Star Wars franchise starts to impact EA's wallet, they're now listening, but only reluctantly. There is something seriously wrong here and ultimately it all boils down to greed. They want to come out with the shittiest product possible and bilk out gamers for as much money as they can all the while plying us with platitudes stating that "Oh, we are listening..." Yeah, BULLSHIT.
